Save first, send later
In SentryOps every tap, incident and alert is written to a secure outbox on the phone first, so the guard sees it recorded straight away. When the phone finds signal the outbox sends itself, and a background sweep retries every 15 minutes in case the app was closed.
No double counting
Each record carries its own ID, created on the phone. If a send is interrupted and retried, the server keeps a single copy.
Time you can trust
Records keep the time the phone recorded them and the time the server received them. If the phone’s clock looks wrong, the record is marked for review instead of being quietly trusted.
Tip for supervisors: set the app’s Android battery setting to Unrestricted, so background sending is never paused.
An SOS alert is sent the moment the phone has signal. In dead zones, guards should still follow the site’s emergency procedure.
